richard • 11 January 2022

now you can assign special member designations to your member directory listings

Lit-up person stands out from a crowd of dark figures, symbolizing uniqueness and visibility.

From special requests from the Rancho Cordova and Corvallis Chambers of Commerce we have completed the build out of our new SPECIAL MEMBER DESIGNATION service available to everyone at no additional cost.
Soon our latest member directory will also be updated so that you can easily find businesses with these special designations.
To enable the Designations service, go to Configuration -> Member Database -> Admin Profile Edit Page Options -> check the box for Activate Member Designation Service? Once checked, Admins will find the Designations multi-select field in the member database, in the "Email/Plan" tab of the member edit page.
Designation options:
  • Ambassador
  • Director
  • Award Winner
  • Minority Owned
  • LGBTQ Owned
  • LGBT Friendly
  • Disabled Owner
  • Veteran Owned
  • Women Owned
  • Sustainable Business
  • Bilingual Staff
  • 1 Year Term/Member
  • 5 Year Term/Member
  • 10 Year Term/Member
  • 25 Year Term/Member
  • Chair Level
  • Gold
  • Silver
  • Bronze
  • Wrangler
  • (LIST AS OF 1/28/22 AND WILL GROW UPON REQUEST)

Any members with designations will have them included in the JSON member feed that supports the system API and our latest enhanced member directory.

If you have any questions please submit a help ticket and we'll be happy to assist you!

For SUPER USER SUPPORT ADMINS:
The configuration area to add Designations is complete.
The link to it is only visible to superusers, and can be found in Configuration -> Member Database -> Admin Profile Edit Page Options, beside the checkbox to turn designations on. Please note that designations are server-wide, and are not chamber-specific. If you need to add a Designation, please put in a support ticket.  It will be available for any chambers on that server.

If you're planning to be at ACCE, I'd love to set aside 20–30 minutes to meet one-on-one. — Pria Vijayaratnam, Director of Enterprise Growth So if you'll be at ACCE26, find us.
